When to Phone Us Immediately

Your vision is precious, and sudden changes require prompt medical attention. Please call our rooms directly instead of using our online form or email if your doctor has requested an urgent same-day assessment, or if you notice any of the following symptoms:

  • Sudden new floatersSpots or strings that appear in your vision.
  • Flashes of lightIn one or both eyes.
  • A sudden, unexpected changeIn your sight.

For after-hours eye emergencies or urgent vision concerns over the weekend, please attend the emergency department of your nearest hospital immediately.

For Referring Clinicians

We value our continuing partnership with local general practitioners and optometrists. To refer a patient directly to the appropriate subspecialist within our team, please fax a detailed referral letter to (02) 9874 0896 or email reception@eastwoodeyesurgery.com.au.

Our administration team will promptly reach out to your patient to organise their consultation, and we will keep you fully informed with comprehensive clinical reports throughout their care.
